A fire broke out in a multi-storeyed building in Sidharth Nagar of  Vikhroli, Mumbai last night. Four people died and six  others were injured. The fire broke out in the electric meter. Mumbai Police said the victims were rushed to a local

14-Kosi Parikrama begins in Ayodhya; 10 lakh take dip in Saryu

Ayodhya: The 14-Kosi Parikrama began in Ayodhya on Sunday night amid tight security. About 10 lakh devotees started the Parikrama after taking the dip in the Saryu river. They will cover the round of 45 km periphery of the temple town. The parikrama will conclude on Tuesday afternoon.

  A large contingent of security forces, including 10 companies of paramilitary forces, have been deployed in the temple town. More than two dozen administrative officers have been assigned magisterial duties.
